It's a chance to share information: My spouse and I love to travel...

Living in the Southwest, most of our trips seem to naturally gravitate to the US coast (so far). We call them "rest and rehydration". Over the years, we've developed a few tricks and preparation techniques to get the most out of our vacation.

It's a chance to do a good deed:

It's a pleasure and, for many of us, a well-earned respite to take a vacation to places of our choosing. Sometimes a vacation is not a pleasure but a necessity, to get away from the cares and concerns of being ill. To that end, I've committed 10% of all the commissions earned by you clicking on the advertisers and making a purchase to the Make a Wish Foundation.

It was a requirement for a course:

I was in the University of New Mexico's Anderson Graduate School of Management's Post-Master's Professional Certificate Program, majoring in Management Information Systems. One of the courses I took was MGT 632, Web-Based Applications, taught by Dr. Flor. A major requirement of the course was to develop a self-sustaining web page, from scratch, that builds a user community and generates some (modest) amount of income. So, please, click on the advertisers; I've been pretty selective in choosing advertisers that have some relationship to coastal travel.
2007 Update: I successfully completed the course and the program, and decided to keep the page up. Still being selective with advertisers, and plan to continue adding to the website.
